Overheard a guy in Bali say coworking spaces are dead
Got coffee at a cafe in Ubud last week and some digital nomad told his friend that coworking spaces are pointless now because everyone just works from hostels or cafes. He said he saved $150 a month ditching his desk membership. Anyone else notice coworking spaces emptying out in popular nomad hubs?

Hostels are way louder than coworking spaces though.

Exactly. Hostels feel like a constant party where no one asks if you want in. You're trying to sleep at 10 PM and someone's blasting music or laughing in the hall. At least coworking spaces have actual quiet hours and people are there to work, not to get drunk. Plus you can usually find a corner to hide in with headphones. Hostels you're stuck in a room with six strangers who have zero respect for anyone else. I'll take the sterile coworking vibe over that chaos any day.
