Trying to work from a cafe in Marrakech ended with a goat eating my laptop cable

I was finishing a big project for a client in this nice rooftop spot. A guy came up with a small goat, which I thought was just for pictures. The goat got loose, walked right over, and started chewing on my power cord. The cafe owner just shrugged and said 'it is normal here'. Has anyone else had their gear attacked by local wildlife?

Oh man, a goat! Did you get the cable out in time? I had a squirrel chew through my headphone cord in a park once. I started using braided nylon cables after that, the thick kind. They seem to hold up way better against curious teeth.
