Wasted $80 on a cheap chain whip that bent on the first use

Bought a no-name chain whip off Amazon for fixing my cassette. First time I put any real torque on it, the handle bent in half. I was only trying to loosen a Shimano lockring on a 11-speed cassette. Ended up having to buy a Park Tool one for $25 more and it worked fine. Has anyone else had luck with budget chain whips or should I just stick with the name brand stuff?

Bent handle means low quality steel, not just a bad brand name.

Bought a $15 chain whip off eBay last year and it folded like a soda can on the second cassette I tried. The metal was so thin you could see it flex just looking at it. I picked up a Park Tool one after that and it's been solid for over two years now. Sometimes the cheap stuff is just made to break so you have to replace it. If you're doing more than one cassette, save yourself the hassle and go name brand.
