Wait, is chicken wire cactus even a real plant? I thought that was just a term for those wire sculptures people put in gardens. Or did your neighbor actually find some kind of spiky succulent thing wrapped in chicken wire?

Nah @amyr57, that's def not a real plant. Chicken wire cactus is just what people call those wireframe decorations, usually the ones shaped like a saguaro. Your neighbor probably just found one of those with some actual potted succulents sitting inside or next to it. Easy mix-up though, I've seen people do some creative stuff with that wire.
