I thought the pool noodle cable sleeve trick was dumb, then my cat chewed through a $60 HDMI cable
Almost skipped the dollar store noodle trick when I saw it online, but after my cat killed a second cable last month I gave it a shot. Two noodles and ten minutes later, every cord behind my desk is wrapped and she has not touched one since. What is everyone else using to keep pets away from their cable runs?

Did you tape the slit shut or just wrap it around? I found that splitting the noodle down one side and taping it closed keeps it tight enough that my cat can't fish the cord back out.
