Showerthought: spent 2 years putting the rubber pad back in my DualSense the wrong way, figured it out when my thumb slipped mid boss fight in Akron
The little ribbed side faces down toward the board, not up at your thumb, and I only caught it after taking the shell apart a 4th time last Tuesday because my left stick kept drifting on Elden Ring, so has anyone else been flipping that pad without knowing?

Dude that thumb slip mid boss fight is brutal, losing to a drifting stick AND a backwards pad at the same time would break me. I had mine in wrong for months too so you're not alone on this one.
