That time someone told me my joystick swap felt 'mushy'

I spent a whole weekend swapping the joysticks on my old Xbox One pad with some fancy metal shaft ones I found online. First match I played, a buddy asked what I did because the movement felt soft and slow, not crisp. Has anyone else gotten feedback that changed how they set up their controller mods?

Honestly, it's just a controller though. So your buddy called it mushy, big deal. Unless you're going pro for money, who cares if it's a little softer than stock?

First time I swapped sticks on my PS4 pad I got told it felt like moving through mud. @thomas_brown I hear you but for some of us that feedback actually helps dial in the feel we want.
