Thought my Xbox stick drift was a dead module, but it was just 2 stripped screw heads letting the board wiggle
Spent $40 on a replacement module in Boston last week when the real problem was me over-tightening the shell screws after a grip swap. So is it dumb luck or actually better to leave the shell a little loose on purpose?

Loose is fine, tight strips threads. Torque spec exists for a reason.
