Why does nobody talk about using a cheap laser level for tile work?
I was putting down a herringbone pattern in my small bathroom and kept messing up the angles. After two rows, things were already starting to drift. I was about to pull it all up when I remembered I had a $25 laser level from a hardware store. I set it up on a tripod to shoot a perfect 45-degree line across the whole floor. It let me just follow the red line for each tile instead of measuring and marking every single piece. The whole job went three times faster and the lines stayed straight. I finished the floor in one weekend instead of two. Has anyone else found a basic tool that saved a big project from going sideways?

Got the Bosch. How long have you had yours? Any problems with it yet?
