Unpopular opinion: I was wrong about needing a $500 stylus for my tablet
A contractor in Austin said he just uses a $15 pack of rubber nibs and gets cleaner linework... now I'm saving for a better monitor instead. Anyone else ditch a pricey tool for a cheap fix that worked better?

My buddy swore by his expensive drafting pencil until a basic plastic grip changed his whole game.

That fancy pencil still feels way better in the hand though.

You know, I have to totally disagree with that "feels way better" idea. A fancy pencil can actually be a real pain for long writing sessions because it's so heavy and slick. My hand cramps up way faster with a metal barrel. Davis.ivan, that nice feeling fades after ten minutes of real use! A basic pencil with a good rubber grip is way more comfy for getting actual work done. It's not about the fancy look, it's about how your hand feels after an hour.
