I skipped it once on a long shift and ended up with a clogged suction line that cost me half a day in Mobile. How often do you guys actually inspect your teeth?

Man, that's rough about the PVC line. Seen that exact thing happen on a job up in Montgomery. A buddy ignored a small crack in a tooth, next thing you know it's chewing through the coupling and we're digging up the trench again. That quick visual check is a lifesaver, saves you from the real headache later.

My foreman in Baton Rouge made us check every 6 hours, no excuses. I thought it was overkill until a chipped tooth tore up a whole section of PVC pipe on a Friday afternoon. Tbh, that one mistake put us two days behind schedule. Now I just do the quick visual check, it's not worth the hassle.
