Best week I've had in months on a basement job

I was finishing out a 1,200 square foot basement in Naperville last week and everything just clicked - the mud mixed perfect, the tape laid flat, no bubbles at all. Even the corners came out clean on the first pass, which never happens for me. What's the longest stretch of good days you've ever had on a single job?

Man I gotta ask, are we really acting like a good week of mudding is a spiritual experience now? "Everything just clicked" sounds like you're describing a life changing event not a basement in Naperville. Look, I get it, a clean job feels nice but it's drywall, not brain surgery. You taped some corners and they didn't screw up, congrats, that's literally your job doing what it's supposed to do. I've had good runs too but I don't write home about them, I just move on to the next pig of a ceiling that'll humble me real quick. Enjoy the win but don't get too excited, the next house will remind you who's boss.

Everything just clicked" - you ever stop to think maybe that's the whole point? Some weeks you're just scraping by, when it all lines up you take the win.
