Rant: Used a cheap mud pan for a big ceiling job and it was a disaster

I had a 400 square foot ceiling to tape and used a flimsy 12-inch pan I got for five bucks years ago. The shallow well meant constant refills and the bent corner made a huge mess, so I switched to my old Marshalltown deep well pan halfway through and saved an hour. Anyone have a favorite pan brand for heavy taping days?

Why even bother with the cheap stuff? That shallow pan sounds like a nightmare, lol. Just get a decent deep one and save yourself the hassle.
