Serious question, has anyone else bought a 'drywall laser' that was just a toy?
I spent $80 on a 'professional alignment laser' from a truck sale that turned out to be a cheap level with a weak red dot. I wasted half a morning trying to get a straight line before my foreman told me to just use the chalk box. What's the worst tool you've been tricked into buying?

Ever buy a tool where the expensive part is just the brand name sticker? I dropped cash on a "contractor grade" paint sprayer that was basically a cheap plastic model with a known brand logo slapped on. The motor burned out after two rooms. Felt like paying for a fancy box while getting a toy inside.

Check the warranty before you toss it.
