My cheap rice cooker hack saved a burnt dinner last Tuesday

I forgot to hit start on the rice cooker and ended up microwaving frozen veggies while my chicken dried out in the oven. Has anyone else accidentally saved a meal by just throwing everything in one pot at the last minute?
