My foreman in Phoenix said my wire pulls were too tight at the bends
He pointed out a 90 degree turn where I had less than 6 inches of slack before the box. I always thought a tight pull was a clean job. Now I leave a full foot of service loop at every major bend. Anyone else get called out for pulling wire too straight?

What, you thought the wire was training for a marathon?

Honestly, I've had that happen. A loose wire can rub against the frame or another part every time you hit a bump. Over a few hundred miles, the insulation wears right through and shorts out. It looks like it's been chewed because the rubbing is so focused in one spot. My fix was to wrap the section in split loom tubing and use a couple of zip ties to secure it away from anything it could touch.
