Hit my 500th board repair yesterday and it caught me off guard

I do a lot of TV power board swaps and cap jobs in my garage shop. My buddy keeps a spreadsheet for me and told me I crossed 500 repairs yesterday. That's 500 dead boards I brought back to life over like 4 years. That's more than I thought I'd ever do when I started this after work. Any of you guys track your numbers or am I the only one who finds that weird?

Yeah but tracking it that close almost feels like work instead of just fixin stuff. I get why your buddy does it, I just think counting every single one takes the fun out of it eventually. More power to you though, 500 is still a solid number no matter how you look at it.

Lol yeah cause nothing says "fun hobby" like spreadsheets and pivot tables at 10pm on a Tuesday. At that point just clock in and get a paycheck for it.
