Now, I put a cheap smart speaker in the kitchen and set it to give me the weather when I say a simple phrase. It might not work for everyone, but for me, it cuts out that tiny bit of morning friction. As a concrete contractor, knowing if it will rain helps me plan my day without extra steps. Totally get that. I set mine to start a timer when my hands are covered in flour, or to add stuff to my grocery list the second I run out. Why dig for your phone when you can just shout at the ceiling? It feels lazy, but those few seconds add up. My favorite is having it play the news while I make coffee, so I'm not just staring at a wall.
