The $3 command strip that saved my monitor from tipping over

My cat jumped on my desk last week and almost knocked my monitor off because the stand was wobbly. I stuck two heavy-duty command strips under the base and now it hasn't budged even when she goes full parkour. Anyone else use adhesive stuff to secure their desk setup?

Saw a post on some DIY sub where a guy used velcro strips to mount his whole PC case under his desk. Worked so well he forgot it was there for like six months.

That's honestly genius though. I did something similar with heavy duty command strips for my surge protector under my desk and it's been solid for over a year now. Just gotta make sure the surface is clean first.
