Saw a huge difference in my pattern making after ditching the cheap paper

I used to buy the $5 roll of brown craft paper from the hardware store for all my patterns. About 8 months ago I finally caved and spent $22 on a roll of actual dotted pattern paper from the fabric store. The grid lines alone saved me hours of re-measuring since I could just line up grain lines by eye now. Has anyone else noticed a big change from just swapping one basic material like that?

Saw a YouTube sewer say the same thing about paper being a game changer.

Spend money on good materials and suddenly realize you've been working against yourself for years. That dotted paper probably paid for itself in sanity alone the first time you didn't have to square up a grain line by eyeballing it against a tape measure. Now you'll be telling us next that a proper rotary cutter changed your life too.
