I finally hit 500 linear feet of cedar fence in a single week
That number hit me when I was doing the books for a job in Clearwater last Friday. Back in the day, with just a two-man crew and manual post-hole diggers, we'd be lucky to get 200 feet done. Now with a hydraulic auger and pre-assembled panels, the pace is just wild. Anyone else remember what a game-changer power tools were for their weekly output?

Man, hearing numbers like that makes my back hurt just thinking about it. I can't imagine digging all those holes by hand, that's just pure punishment. My uncle used to talk about his old two-man auger like it was some kind of medieval torture device. These days you guys are basically putting up fences at the speed of light.
