PSA: Skipping the moisture barrier on my sunroom floor was a smart move.

Conventional wisdom says always use one, but in a dry, controlled space, it just added cost and time. My floors have held up fine for two years now.

Yeah, in a dry, controlled space it makes sense. Maybe just keep an eye out for any damp spots though?

Spotting a tiny bit of moisture early is so key! I had a friend ignore a small dark patch in the corner of his basement, and it turned into a whole mold issue behind the drywall. He ended up having to replace a section of it and a power strip that got fried. Now I check my own storage area every time I'm down there grabbing holiday decorations. Your advice to keep an eye out is spot on.

Seriously, why do we always wait for the mushroom farm?
