I finally had one of those perfect days in a row last fall
It was a Tuesday in late September, and I had three jobs lined up back to back in the same neighborhood in Arlington. The first was a straight-forward glue-down vinyl plank in a small bathroom, maybe 60 square feet. The second was a floating click-lock laminate in a narrow hallway, 4 feet wide by 30 feet long. The third was just a quick repair to a squeaky hardwood floor in a bedroom. Every single cut was perfect, every joint snapped together tight, and the glue troweled out exactly right. Not one callback, no measuring mistakes, nothing ruined. I finished the last one by 4pm and even had time to swing by the supply house for a roll of underlayment. Has anyone else had a day where everything just clicked like that and you wondered what you did different?
