My friend told me to skip the main taco truck line at the fair and go around back

Honestly, I was at the county fair last weekend and the line for the big taco truck was huge. My buddy, who works events, said to just walk around to the service side and order there. I did it, and they took my order right away while everyone else waited. Tbh, I felt a little sneaky but I got my carnitas plate in like 5 minutes. Has anyone else found a trick like this for getting food faster from a busy truck?

Man, I gotta disagree on that one. Skipping the main line feels like cutting in front of everyone who waited their turn. It might work, but it's not really fair. I've been in that long line before, watching someone just walk up the side, and it's a real bummer. It just makes the whole experience worse for everyone else trying to follow the rules.
