Someone told me my YT gadget reviews were too scripted so I changed it up

Last month a commenter said I sounded like a robot reading a manual on my unboxing videos. So for my last review of the Anker 737 power bank I just talked naturally without a script and ad-libbed my thoughts. I actually got way more engagement and even a few subs from it. Has anyone else tried ditching the script and just speaking off the cuff?

Good on you for trying that out, it takes guts to just let it rip like that. That "sounding like a robot" feedback stings but it's honestly helpful in the long run. You probably come across way more relaxed and real now, plus people can tell when you're genuinely hyped about a product. Hope your channel keeps growing from this.

That first batch of robot comments is brutal, I've been there with my own stuff. But yeah it's the fastest way to figure out what's not working and fix it.
