Unpopular opinion: That top-rated air purifier doesn't work for tight spaces like my apartment

I saw a detailed review for the popular HEPA filter model. It praised the power for big rooms, but my place is small with shared walls. A friend in my building tried it and said it cut down on dust noticeably. I wish reviewers would think about different home setups more.

Look, I get that reviewers focus on big rooms, but for a small apartment, is the dust really that bad? I mean, my place is tiny too, and I just open a window sometimes. Your friend said it cut down on dust, but idk, in a shared wall building, air flow is weird anyway. Maybe it's not worth stressing over the perfect purifier.

About the dust question, it can pile up quick in a small place. Shared walls and weird airflow make it hard to clear out.
