My whole chat history vanished when I tried to switch between my phone and laptop last Tuesday.
I was in the middle of planning a surprise party for my husband on my phone, then opened the app on my laptop to print the guest list, and the entire conversation thread with all the details was just gone, so has anyone else had their chats disappear when switching devices and know how to get them back?

My own chat history once vanished while trying to coordinate a camping trip, and let's just say my friends still joke about my 'invisible' packing list. In my experience, force-closing the app on both devices and logging back in sometimes jogs its memory. Your mileage may vary, but checking for any pending app updates is also a good first step.

Wait, you lost the whole packing list? That's a camping nightmare right there. I'd be telling that story for years too. Good tip about closing the app though, tech can be so weird.

Oh no, invisible packing list? That's priceless. Your friends are never going to let that one go, are they? I can just picture you showing up to the campfire empty handed while everyone else has their gear laid out. Force closing and logging back in is a smart move, I've had that trick save me a few times too. Did you ever find that invisible list or is it still out there haunting you like a ghost?
