I read a blog post once that said old toothbrushes are perfect for small cleaning jobs. The bristles get into window tracks and grout lines way better than a rag. My mom always used one to scrub around the kitchen sink faucet. It's a solid way to reuse something before you toss it out.

Notice how the best tools for a job are often the ones we already have. We buy all these special gadgets but a simple toothbrush does the trick. It feels like we're trained to always get something new. Makes you wonder what else we could fix with stuff already in the house. It's a small act but it fights against that constant buy-and-toss cycle. That's the real hack, seeing the potential in ordinary things.
