I was talking to my sister about that old blue car we used to see parked on Elm Street every day for years.
She said, 'What blue car?' and I realized she has no memory of it at all, which is weird because we drove past it together for at least a decade.

That thing about the blue car on Elm Street is so strange. It reminds me of a huge oak tree that used to be in my grandma's yard. I mentioned it to my cousin last year and he swore it was a maple tree, but I have clear pictures of me climbing it. It makes you wonder how two people can live through the same thing and remember it totally differently.

idk, the picture thing is key. I've had the same argument with my brother and yeah, photos don't lie, so I'd just go with what you got and let your cousin be wrong.

How many of our own memories are just plain wrong?
