PSA: A quiet island getaway got my crew arguing over diet choices
We stumbled on this tiny, untouched island last summer. Some of us saw it as a chance to eat local, fresh fish and veggies every day. Others thought we should pack our usual snacks to keep energy up for exploring. It made me wonder if hidden spots are better for trying new foods or sticking to what you know. How do you handle meals when you find a real gem place?

Seriously, you found an untouched island and the big debate is about snacks? I'd be too busy trying not to get eaten by whatever lives there.

Yeah, I get why that would cause tension though (camping with friends once turned into a full blown cold-cut standoff). Part of me agrees with @jaketorres about bigger worries, but figuring out meals when you're out of your routine can really stress a group. I usually try one local thing a day, then fall back on a packed peanut butter sandwich.
