Got caught in a surprise downpour on the Timberline Trail and my boots stayed completely dry while my buddy's socks were soaked in minutes. Anyone have a go-to brand for wet spring hikes?

My old Outdoor Research gaiters have lasted almost a decade now. That initial sting on the price tag fades when you realize you just never have to think about wet feet again.
