It jammed up after the first bucket on a Reno job, and I lost an hour cleaning it out. Anyone have a hopper they actually trust?

I finally tried grinding my beans right before brewing instead of buying pre-ground

For years I just grabbed the big bag of pre-ground coffee from the store, thinking it was fine. Last month, my brother gave me a cheap hand grinder and a bag of whole beans from a local roaster in Portland. The first cup I made with fresh grounds smelled completely different, like actual fruit instead of just 'coffee smell'. The taste was way brighter and cleaner, with none of that flat, bitter finish I was used to. Has anyone else made this switch and found a specific bean that really showed the difference?

My client's toner turned her hair a weird shade of green last Thursday

I was in my chair at the salon in Riverside, and the toner grabbed way too much on her pre-lightened ends. I had to do a quick color remover and re-mix with a violet base to cancel it out. Anyone else have a toner go sideways like that?

My measuring tape showed two lengths for one wall in under a minute

I was redoing my living room and needed to cut some baseboards. I pulled out my tape, stretched it across the wall, and read 120 inches. I double-checked because I'm paranoid, so I measured again right away. This time, it said 122 inches. No joke, same spot, same tape, within seconds. I even had my buddy watch me do it a third time, and it went back to 120. How does that happen? I think this stuff is more common than people admit. We just brush it off as mistakes, but what if it's the universe glitching? Now I'm second-guessing every measurement in my house.
