Client sent me a 40 page brief the day before a pitch in Portland

I was at the coffee shop at 11pm trying to scan thru 40 pages of nonsense they clearly pulled from a template, and midway through page 12 I realized they asked for the exact opposite of what they wanted in page 3. Has anyone else had a client completely contradict themselves in a single document like that?

Man, that line about page 3 contradicting page 12 hit me hard. I've been there with client documents that feel like they were written by two different people who never talked to each other. It just makes you wonder if they even read the thing before they sent it.

@jake_dixon thats rough man reminds me when someone asked for blue then said black on page 8.
