Our local cooking class only teaches frozen food air fryer recipes, and I disagree
Last week, I went to a cooking class at the community center all about air fryer recipes. The teacher only showed how to make frozen fries and chicken nuggets. I think air fryers can do more with fresh stuff. For example, I often make bell peppers and onions from the farmers market in mine, and they come out good. Another thing is that fresh meat like pork chops gets a nice crust without getting dry. Why don't we teach people to use their air fryers for real cooking? It seems like a missed chance to push for healthier meals.

My brother in Denver only uses his air fryer for sliced bananas.

Wait, he bought a whole air fryer just for bananas? That's like getting a sports car to only drive to the mailbox. What does he even do with them, just eats warm banana chips forever? I need to know if this is some secret Denver thing or if your brother is just a weirdo.

Oh man, that reminds me of when I tried to make cinnamon apples in my air fryer on a whim. They turned out so sticky and sweet, like a dessert without all the oil. I almost set off the smoke alarm because some sugar dripped down, but it was worth it. Now I just toss in random veggies from the fridge when I'm too lazy to cook properly. It's kind of amazing how much you can experiment if you ignore the frozen food aisle.
