People build up shows so much that the discussions just become nitpicking sessions, lol.

Yeah, reminds me of when robertanderson and I both got too excited for that new season and ended up just talking about the bad animation.

Read some youtube video talking about this exact thing. They said the bigger the hype, the harder people look for flaws. I mean, makes sense, right? Feels like a self-fulfilling prophecy sometimes.

Totally get that, I'm probably part of the problem whenever I get hyped for something. Build it up so much in my head that the real thing can only disappoint, so I start picking at every little flaw. Guess we're all just setting ourselves up for it.
