A regular in my chair finally let me try a full skin fade on him

So this guy, Mark, has been coming to me for about a year, always getting the same basic trim. He's a bit older, set in his ways. This past Thursday, he sits down and just says, 'Alright, let's do something different. I trust you.' I mean, I was a little shocked. I suggested a high skin fade with a hard part, something clean but sharp. He went for it. I took my time with the Andis Masters, really working the blend. When I spun him around to the mirror, he just grinned and said, 'That's the best I've looked in twenty years.' It wasn't about the money, it was that moment of trust and seeing him actually happy with a change. Felt like I really leveled up. Anyone else have a client who finally took a chance on a cut you knew would suit them?

Wait, he went a whole year with the same basic trim and then just jumped straight to a full skin fade? That's a huge leap of faith! I bet your heart was pounding when you picked up those clippers. It must feel amazing to have that kind of trust from a regular client. That moment at the mirror is what makes the job so good!
