Debate: walk-in only vs booking apps. Which side are you on?

I visited a shop in Austin last month that was strictly walk-in, no phones allowed in the chair, and honestly the vibe was amazing but they lost 3 customers while I waited. Does forcing people to book online just create more no-shows, or is it the only way to keep your day from falling apart?

Hybrid is the sweet spot, book appointment slots but keep a few walk-in spots open each day for the spontaneous crowd.

Keep a few walk-in spots open" - that's my whole life strategy honestly, leave room for my spontaneous decisions that always end up with me buying something I don't need.
