Just realized I was holding my clippers totally wrong for fading

Had a barber I sub for watch me do a bald fade last week and he pointed out I was gripping the clippers like a screwdriver instead of letting them float in my palm, so now I’m re-learning muscle memory after 4 years of doing it the dumb way, anyone else have a basic technique they had to unlearn this late in the game?

Wait till you hit year 5 and find out you've been holding the clipper upside down too.

Hold on, FOUR years of gripping them like a screwdriver? I’ve been cutting for two years and thought I was late catching it after a client said my wrist looked stiff.
