My mentor in Philly told me to ditch the guard on my clippers for fades

I thought he was nuts, but after 3 months of practice my blends are way smoother. Who else started freehanding after getting similar advice?

Learning stick shift is a skill but come on, it's not that deep. People act like it's some huge life achievement, @davis.ivan. It's just moving gears around in a car, not solving world hunger. You get the hang of it after a week and then it's just normal driving. Making it sound super serious is a bit much lol.
