The time a client's kid brought a hamster to his haircut
Honestly, I used to keep my clipper blades in a basic plastic case, but that changed after a wild morning in my shop. This little guy, maybe 8 years old, had his pet hamster in his hoodie pocket and it got loose right as I was starting his fade. The hamster ran straight for my open tool bag and I spent 10 minutes trying to coax it out from behind my station. Ngl, I was worried about hair and stuff getting in my gear. Now I use a hard-shell tackle box with a latch for all my blades and guards, it's been about six months. Has anyone else had a pet cause chaos during an appointment?

Oh man, that sounds like a total nightmare! I can just picture that hamster darting around with all that loose hair everywhere (what a mess). Your new tackle box setup is honestly genius, because you never know what's going to happen. That's the kind of story that makes you change how you do things forever.

That hamster story is the exact reason I keep a spare bin for pet emergencies now. You're right, it changes how you plan for the simple stuff. What other weird pet situations have made you rethink your setup?
