Just found out the first season of 'The Bear' was shot in only 18 days

I was reading an interview with the director on a film site and my jaw dropped. That's less than three weeks for eight episodes of TV that looks that good. It explains the crazy energy and why everything feels so immediate. Has anyone else stumbled on a show fact that made you go 'how did they even do that'?

That "how did they even do that" feeling hits me every time I watch a long take in a movie. There's a scene in the movie 1917 that looks like one shot for like eight minutes, and all I can think about is the poor guy who had to move the camera cables. It makes you appreciate the pure chaos happening just off screen.

Forget the chaos, they probably just hid the cuts with CGI. Movies fake way harder stuff than that these days. It's still cool, but let's not act like it's magic.
