My power went out right at the climax of the new season finale
I was in my living room in Portland, totally hooked on the last episode of a thriller. A huge storm hit and the lights cut out right as the killer was revealed. I had to use my phone's data to look up spoilers on a fan wiki just to find out what happened. Has anyone else had a binge totally wrecked by something like that?

Feel like you might be mixing up the feeling though. Looking up spoilers on your phone is a choice, the power going out is the bad luck part. I mean, you could have just waited for it to come back on and watched it properly. Using data to get the ending from a wiki is kinda doing it to yourself at that point. Idk, maybe it's just me but that seems like adding a second problem on top of the first one.

Used to hate spoilers, but after my cable died during a game seven, I get it now.

Oh man, that's brutal. So you're sitting there ready for the big moment and boom, black screen. I'd probably be more mad about missing the live tension than anything else, spoilers just become the salt in the wound. At least with a dead cable you were forced into it, not like the folks who actively hunt down the final score before the game ends.
