Found a simple color coding hack that actually worked for me

I kept getting lost flipping between my monthly tasks and weekly spreads. After maybe four months of frustration I grabbed a pack of those basic highlighters from the dollar store. Now I mark every task with a color for work, home, and personal stuff. It took maybe ten minutes to set up but my eyes find the right section way faster now. Has anyone else had luck with a simple system like that?

Oh man that's basically what I did with my fridge magnets except I color coded them for grocery types. Works great until your kid decides to rearrange them all as a joke lol.

Tbh the kid rearranging them is exactly why I keep my highlighters hidden in my desk drawer.
