Hit 10,000 parts without a single reject last week

I've been running this Haas VF-2 for almost 4 years now and never thought I'd see the day. We make these little aluminum brackets for a medical device company, tolerance is +/- 0.002 on the critical holes. Last Wednesday at 2pm the counter ticked over to 10,000 good parts in a row. My boss didn't even believe me until he checked the inspection logs himself. Took me 14 months of dialing in feeds and speeds plus swapping out coolant filters every 2 weeks to get there. Has anyone else hit a crazy streak like that or am I just lucky with my machine?

Yeah 10k is massive but just so you know Haas stopped making the VF-2 trim level back in 2018.

Man that's awesome, my buddy ran a streak like that once on an old Mazak!

@linda305 actually those old Mazaks can hold tolerance way better than most newer machines.
