Spent 4 hours debugging a missing semicolon in Python and wanted to scream
I was coding a simple calculator app at my kitchen table last night, and the whole thing just refused to run. Turns out I forgot a colon after an if statement, but I checked everything else like three times first. My roommate walked in and asked why I was staring at my screen like it insulted my family lol. Has anyone else spent way too long on a tiny syntax mistake that made zero sense?

Oh man, I felt that in my soul... spent a whole evening once hunting down why my dice rolling script kept crashing. Checked every line three times, even rewrote half the thing. Finally realized I wrote "elif" instead of "else if" and python just noped out. Stared at it for maybe 20 seconds feeling like the dumbest person alive before I fixed it. The worst part is you know it's something stupid but your brain just refuses to see it until you've suffered enough.

Found @jasons63 that walking away for 10 minutes works way better than staring at the screen.
