Hit 500 pour-over brews this morning without a scale

I marked my 500th pour-over this morning by eyeballing everything like I always do. My morning routine involves three scoops from the same tin cup and water filled to the same chip in my kettle, and it tastes consistent every time. Has anyone else ditched the scale and just learned their gear's quirks?

Whoa, wait, you hit 500 brews with no scale and you're using a chip in your kettle for water level? That's wild. I measure beans by grams every time and still manage to screw up the ratio on a bad morning.
