That $80 burr grinder I bought on sale has been a headache

Picked up a budget burr grinder for $80 six months ago thinking I was getting a deal. First few weeks were fine, but now the burrs seem to wobble and I get chunks mixed in with my fine grounds. Spent a whole afternoon trying to realign the thing with shims and tape. Anyone else find that cheap grinders just aren't worth the frustration long term?

Have you tried just cutting your losses and moving on? I had a similar experience with a mid-range grinder that turned into a total chore to use. Sometimes it's better to accept the lesson and save up for something that actually works.
