Why does nobody talk about brewing coffee with a pinch of salt?
Honestly, I think a tiny bit of salt cuts the bitterness way better than sugar. Tbh, I added it as a prank and now my morning cup tastes smoother. Ngl, my friends all laughed but they're missing out.

Wait, have you tried the salt in coffee thing? I thought it sounded nuts but now I do it every day. Totally proves how we get stuck on weird rules!

Noticed we laugh at simple fixes just because they sound weird. See it all the time with stuff like putting ice in wine or using mayo on grilled cheese. People hate trying things that break the tiny rules in their head.

My grandpa still puts sugar in spaghetti sauce because his mom did it during the Great Depression. Sometimes the rules in our head are just hand-me-downs from someone else's survival hack.
