Looking back at my research on the Denver Airport murals
I spent about two years digging into the conspiracy theories around those murals, reading everything from Alex Jones forums to official airport statements. The big difference came when I actually visited Denver and saw the art in person, which made the online claims feel a lot less solid. Has anyone else had a theory completely fall apart after checking the real location?

What is it about seeing the real thing that makes all our online detective work look so silly? You spend months in a dark room staring at blurry pictures, then you see the actual object and it's just some normal stuff. I guess the internet is really good at making a big deal out of nothing. Maybe we should all get out more.

Robin_jones is right about the internet making a big deal from nothing. It happens with everything now, not just conspiracies. You see a crazy story about a neighbor or a local business, then learn the real facts and it's totally normal. The online version always gets twisted for clicks. Reality just can't compete with a good story.

My deep dive into the moon landing hoax ended pretty quick... I drove three hours to the Smithsonian to see the lunar module and just stood there feeling dumb. The thing looked like it was built in a shed with old soup cans. All my online research about fake shadows just evaporated.
