Finally got two-factor authentication set up after years of procrastinating
I kept putting off turning on 2FA for my main email account for probably 3 years. Last week, someone tried logging in from Nigeria and Google blocked it because I finally had an authenticator app set up. It took me maybe 10 minutes total to install Authy and scan the code. Has anyone else waited way too long to do something simple like this and regretted it?

Did you end up keeping the authenticator app after that close call? I actually went through something similar with my old gaming account on Steam. I kept ignoring those 2FA emails for months until one day I got a notification that someone in Russia had successfully logged in and changed the password. By the time I recovered it, they had already traded away all my rare skins to some other account. Took me forever to get Steam support to reverse the trades, and they only did it as a one-time courtesy. So yeah, your 10 minute setup sounds a lot smarter than my whole ordeal.
